Have you ever been the victim of a bad haircut? Are you willing to share a photo?
I have been the victim of a bad haircut twice. The first one was my fault. I let my little sister cut my bangs! I don’t remember how old we were but I could not be older than 12 and she could not be older than 10. First she cut a little. Then one side was longer and she cut some more. Then the other side was longer and she cut even more. This kept happening for a while and I ended up with very short and badly cut bangs. My mom was very upset and she took me to a salon to fix it. But they could not do a lot to save my hair. That was the only time I had bangs in my life. I wish I had a picture.
The second time happened when I was in high school. I got bored with my hair and wanted to have a more exciting haircut. Big mistake. Somehow I ended up with a very very bad looking mushroom like bob, which was nothing like what I described to the stylist. At the time, I had a huge crush on this guy from school. He was one year ahead of me so I did not get to see him very often. While I was walking back home, I saw him! Unfortunately, he saw me too. It was an awkward situation, me trying to go home as soon as possible and him trying to make conversation like a normal person would do.
I am glad I do not have a photo of that particular haircut. I was convinced that the only way to save my hair was to get a very short haircut. I tried it and it really worked.
I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

LOL! I once cut my sister’s hair with disastrous results. Mom was NOT pleased with me!
T.
My Mom is the one responsible for my worst haircut. I spent an entire summer wearing a baseball cap.
your hair looks great now!
i always cut my own hair, so i pretty much always have a bad haircut. however, when i was eight, i ended up with an afro somehow. i wouldn’t even smile for my school pictures. mom was pissed and refused to pay for them. also, when i was around 21, i got my hair cut at a beauty college. i was growing my hair out from being really short (like 1.5 inches short) and the shortest pieces had finally reached shoulder length. i i asked them to cut the hair so it would be the same length all the way around. either the guy didn’t get what i meant, or he was too busy watching this other guy pole-dance on the other end of the salon, but somehow i ended up with a mullet. so i went home and cut all my hair back to 1.5 inches again.
my sister once let her friend cut her hair, and it ended up so bad, she actually had to shave her head. it didn’t look that bad, so when i went into the army, i purposely shaved my own head bald.
i have pictures of all this somewhere, but not on my computer, else i’d share. they’re all pretty laughable.
I’m pretty sure my bad haircut – consisted of the entire decade in the 80′s…from my mother giving us bowl cuts to the bangs (that had to be teased), bad time all around.
That’s when it’s time to just shave all your hair off and start over.
You would look great in any style of hair cut. You ar esuch a pretty lady.
